Vision Doeve Brokers

Former inland cargo vessel, type deck tjalk, that has been converted into a simple sailing (on the engine) Live aboard barge. Originally built to sail peat but then ended up in the sand trade. The current owner has owned the barge since 1971, he first lived on board and now uses her as a recreational vessel which is often at many classic barge events. Equipped with a spacious aft deck, neat wheelhouse, in the hold a spacious salon with open galley, 2 cabins, toilet area and further to the stern a storage room, a workshop and a spacious engine room. The vessel is very suitable to make long journeys to, for example, Belgium, France, Germany and of course in the Netherlands she will do very well. The barge is not obliged to certification, which means that the German Rhine can be navigated too.
