Vision Doeve Brokers
Former inland freighter that, after retiring from freight shipping, has been refurbished into a historic Sailing theatre barge that visited numerous theatre festivals in the Netherlands, Belgium and France in the 1970s and 1980s. Subsequently, this beautifully lined ship was used as a simple sailing houseboat. It is a simply furnished ship with 2 berths in the forecastle, in the front part of the old hold the auxiliary engine with which the mast can also be lowered, then there is a closed bulkhead and on the port side in the hatch is the entrance to the part of the hold which is converted into a living area with a cabin/salon. Further to the aft a cabin with the simple open kitchen and shower/toilet area. The aft cabin is original and contains 2 berths, sink and a salon. The engine is a traditional 2 cylinder MWM diesel. In our view, a Dutch Barge which is an asset to any museum harbor but is also suitable for a full conversion.
