Kuster

Kuster Yachts builds spacious, beautiful and sturdy motorboats that vary in length from 31 to 47 feet. These boats are very reliable and offer a lot of comfort thanks to an extensive range of technical installations. They are designed according to CE standards for design category B vessels, which means they are seaworthy. The yachts are extremely stable and have excellent sailing characteristics. Due to the solid construction and the use of high-quality materials, these ships are suitable for safe sailing and comfortable living in all seasons and on all waters.

Consonant Yachts started in 1995 with the construction of Barkassen in Vriezenveen. Five Mecru type cruisers were subsequently built. Also, the shipyard created an exceptional vessel called the Support Vessel, two of which were produced. In 1999, the yard developed its own sturdy and very beautiful motor yacht type Kuster with Willem Nieland. More than seventy of them have now been built.

In 2015, the yard was taken over by North-Line Yachts from Harlingen and the company was renamed Kuster Yachts. North-Line Yachts was founded in 1976 as Jachtbouw Zevenhuizen by Rients van Sluis and Henk van der Land on business park Zevenhuizen in Franeker. In the 1970s, the company started with yacht paneling for all types of pleasure yachts. The family business expanded its services considerably over the years and in 2000 the leadership was taken over by Sipko van Sluis.
