Located in Brighouse, Sagar Marine was a renowned shipyard that has been in the shipbuilding industry for many years. The yard has an impressive history of building various ships. During the active period, Sagar Marine has produced a range of high quality vessels. They were known for their craftsmanship and attention to detail, and the ships they built focused primarily on inland waterways. These vessels were designed with comfort, functionality and efficiency in mind, making them perfect for exploring the inland waterways of Europe and the UK.

The Sagar Marine yard has built different types of vessels to meet the diverse needs of customers. They have built, among other things, the Mini Luxe Replica, the Dutch Barge Luxe Motor, the Wide Beam Narrowboats and the Narrowboats. Each ship was adapted to the specific requirements of the customer. The goal was to build ships that were both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

Unfortunately, the activities of Sagar Marine shipyard came to an end in 2011. The reasons behind this decision were multiple and included changes in market demand, economic challenges and the increasing competition in the shipbuilding industry.

Although the yard is no longer in operation, Sagar Marine's legacy lives on in the ships they built. Sagar Marine's vessels not only offered an unique way to discover the inland waterways of Europe and those of the United Kingdom, but also stands for the yard's craftsmanship and dedication. Although the end of the yard activities marked the end of an era, Sagar Marine will always be remembered.
