Dutch Barge Liveaboard 14.99
Vision Doeve Brokers
De Arend (Eagle) is a former Dutch fishery inspection vessel, originally built for patrol duties and icebreaking operations. After her service in the commercial fleet, the vessel was completely converted into a comfortable liveaboard ship, with the characteristic nautical features carefully preserved. The result is a versatile and pleasant vessel to live aboard. This Dutch Barge is well insulated, fitted with double glazing and equipped with an efficient central heating system, including underfloor heating in the wheelhouse/galley and an infrared panel in the salon. For extended voyages on inland waterways and along the coast, the vessel is fully self-sufficient, thanks to a generator, inverter/charger and solar panels. The installed navigation equipment provides all necessary support for safe and comfortable cruising. Due to her manageable dimensions, obtaining a berth in marinas is generally not an issue. With the bow thruster, maneuvering is exceptionally easy. In short: a complete, solid and versatile vessel that is ready for immediate use.
