This Dutch Barge, Live aboard, was built at the renowned Shipyard D. Boot, “De Vooruitgang”, in Gouwsluis (Alphen aan den Rijn), The Netherlands, and has been in the possession of the current owners for many years. The vessel has always been well maintained; among other things, a modern engine was installed in 2010. Due to the advancing age of the owners, the level of maintenance has declined in recent years. In addition, in September 2025 a water ingress occurred, during which the fire brigade managed to keep the vessel afloat. As a result, damage was sustained to the interior and to various technical installations. The vessel is offered for sale in her present condition. In our opinion, this is a project vessel that can be completely refurbished and redesigned according to the own wishes of the new owner. The most recent inspection report of the underwater hull, dated 2021, shows good results. We are therefore looking for an enthusiast or professional who is willing to restore this Luxe Motor to her former glory.
