This former inland cargo vessel, which later also served as a cockle fishing vessel under the name Jannetje YE85, was completely converted into a spacious and comfortable liveaboard Dutch Barge in 2006/2007. The vessel features a generous owner’s cabin with en-suite bathroom, a workshop, a guest cabin with private sanitary facilities, and an additional cabin currently in use as an office. The L-shaped galley connects to the very spacious wheelhouse, which is equipped with a professionally fitted steering position and patio doors leading to the aft deck. Thanks to the full-beam superstructure, an exceptional amount of living space has been created. With her dimensions and equipment, the vessel is ideally suited for extended cruising on the European inland waterways, including France, Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. In addition, she is perfectly suitable for permanent residence. An important added benefit is that permanent living is officially permitted at the current mooring. The mooring owner requires, as a condition for transfer, a prior introduction with any prospective new tenant before granting approval.
