Vision Doeve Brokers

This former fishing cutter was converted into a two-masted staysail schooner in 1975. The vessel stands out for her good condition, wide side decks, distinctive sheer and bowsprit, giving her an authentic appearance. In the front are the bathroom and two cabins, each with bunk beds. Midships offers an inviting salon with seating area, dinette and open galley. A notable feature is the beautiful Rio Palissander floor. The engine room houses a Kromhout diesel engine for the propulsion, while two generators provide the electrical supply. In the aft is the owner's cabin with double berth, and from there you can go to the wheelhouse, offering excellent all-round visibility. Considerable investments have been made in recent years. For instance, much of the navigation equipment has been renewed, the standing and running rigging inspected and renewed were necessary, and new roller furling systems fitted for the jib and staysail. The Phoenix is a comfortable and reliable liveaboard sailing vessel, suitable for both short and long sea voyages. She also performs well on larger inland waterways. With certification valid until November 2031, recertification is not yet required. A highly versatile vessel for those who enjoy sailing, comfortable living and adventurous cruising.
