Vision Doeve Brokers

This characterful former steam tug was repowered over the years with a two-cylinder Deutz diesel engine, replacing the original steam engine. The vessel is in a good state of maintenance and underwent an extensive, professionally executed interior refit in 2006. This resulted in an attractive, traditional nautical interior, carefully preserving the tug's authentic character. From the wheelhouse, a companionway leads down to the forward deckhouse, which accommodates the galley and a comfortable seating area. Further forward is a separate bathroom fitted with a toilet and shower. Aft, beneath the wheelhouse, is a cabin with two berths. A second cabin, also fitted with two berths, is located in the aft deckhouse. In addition to the main engine, the engine room houses a low-noise generator, a Kabola- and a Webasto heating system. The vessel benefits from ongoing maintenance. In 2025, the underwater hull was completely stripped by high-pressure water jetting and subsequently treated with a new coating system. In our opinion, this is a well-maintained former steam tug offering her new owner excellent opportunities for many enjoyable voyages. With her authentic appearance and maritime heritage, she is also sure to be a welcome visitor to historic harbours and nautical events.
