Oceangoing Sailing Schooner 15.88
Vision Doeve Brokers
This well-maintained sailing schooner, owned by the first owner, was designed by Martin Bekebrede, a designer who has earned his reputation for seaworthy and reliably built ships. The hull was repainted in 2025, a clear indication that maintenance has always been taken seriously. This same attention to quality is reflected in the interior, finished in Padouk, a particularly durable African hardwood with a warm, timeless appearance. The layout is practical and logical. The forward cabin is located in the front, followed by a bathroom with a shower and electric toilet. Two cabins are located to port, currently used as generous storage spaces, and the owner's cabin is situated to starboard. Subsequently there is the galley and a spacious, comfortable salon. This oceangoing sailing schooner is built for long, demanding voyages. The presence of a generator allows for extended, independent sailing without compromising comfort. The ship is ideal for long-distance crossings and for permanent residence. In consultation with and after approval from the port authority a berth with a postal address might be available.
