Classic Motor Yacht 13.80, ex Barkasse
Vision Doeve Brokers
This is a beautiful Classic Motor Yacht with a remarkable history. She was originally built in Germany as a harbour launch and executive vessel. From 1948 she served with the Wasser- und Schifffahrtsamt in Lauenburg (Germany). After being decommissioned in 1978, the hull was converted into a comfortable Classic Motor Yacht while retaining her characteristic lines. During this conversion, a large part of the underwater hull was renewed. In 2007/2008, a fully overhauled Gardner diesel engine was installed, renowned for its reliability and smooth, quiet operation. The current owner subsequently further modernized the yacht and maintained her to a high standard. The accommodation is equipped with a forward cabin with two single berths and a washbasin, a wheelhouse offering excellent all-round visibility, and a cosy salon with a settee, a small dinette and a galley. Furthermore, there is a bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a spacious covered cockpit with fixed benches and a table. In our opinion, this is a beautifully lined Classic Motor Yacht, powered by a reliable Gardner engine and featuring an attractive, traditional and comfortable interior. A vessel that will certainly appeal to enthusiasts of classic motor yachts.
