Vision Doeve Brokers

This characterful former steam tug is a fine example of sailing maritime heritage. Around 1946, the vessel was converted and the original steam engine was replaced by a diesel engine. Today, propulsion is provided by a powerful 6-cylinder diesel engine of 165 hp / 121 kW. Although this recreational tug is not subject to certification requirements, she has a valid certificate until August 2029. A notable feature is that both the forepeak and aft accommodation are directly accessible from the wheelhouse. Combined with approximately 1.98 metres of headroom below deck, this is certainly not usual for a tug of this type and considerably enhances comfort on board. The galley is situated in the foreship and is equipped with an induction hob. The V-shaped dinette also provides practical sleeping accommodation and can be used as two separate single berths or converted into one double bed. A unique opportunity for the tugboat enthusiasts looking for an authentic vessel that is not only in a very good state of maintenance but also offers modern comfort. We expect that the new owner of the Carbon will be a very welcome participant at many maritime events.
