Motortjalk Dutch Barge 21.40, ES-TRIN certified
Vision Doeve Brokers
Well-maintained and solidly built Dutch Barge IJsseltjalk, in use as a recreational vessel since approximately 1975 and long kept within the same family. Between 2000 and 2003, the vessel underwent an extensive refit and was converted into a liveaboard vessel. The interior was completely renewed, except the forepeak. In addition, double glazing, spud poles, a powerful bow thruster installation, and a renewed electrical system were installed. The refit was clearly focused on comfortable long-term living aboard. This is reflected in a spacious galley and a comfortable salon with ample seating. The vessel is further equipped with a bathroom with shower and toilet, two separate cabins, and a box bed. Between the living area and the forepeak, there is a technical compartment, housing, among other things, the bow thruster installation and a Kabola heating system. The forepeak provides two additional sleeping places. The spacious cockpit offers an ideal area for social gatherings. In less favorable weather conditions, the comfortable interior provides ample alternative space to go to. Thanks to a limited air draft of approximately 2.80 m, the vessel has an extensive cruising area, making her particularly suitable as an inland cruising vessel.
